Exporting Meeting Notes into Documents and Blocks

After a meeting is recorded and the transcript is ready, Ex.Brain allows you to turn your meeting into structured documents with just a few clicks. These documents can be exported, edited, translated, and optionally added to your personal or team knowledge base (Blocks in Ex.Brain).

Where to Start #

Once you’re inside a finished meeting:

  • Scroll to the Transcript screen.
  • Click on the “Export” tab.

(Note: It becomes available only after diarization is completed.)

What Can Be Exported? #

Creating an Export Document #

  1. Select a document type.
  2. A popup will ask you to confirm export settings:
    • Block Name (required)
    • Assign Locations (at least one workspace)
    • Assign Categories (at least one block category)
    • Block Description (optional but recommended)
    • Toggle: Add to Role Ex.Brain
      • If on, the document will appear in your Ex.Brain block inventory.
      • You can add it later if you want to review content first.

Tip:
Giving a meaningful name and assigning the right category helps you retrieve this doc later using AI queries.

Translation #

From the document editor:

  • Click the language dropdown
  • Choose from over 15 languages
  • The document will be translated automatically.

Coming soon:
Auto-detection of your team’s preferred language setting.

Editing the Exported Document #

Every document is editable using our built-in editor:

  • Make changes before sharing or saving to Ex.Brain
  • Ideal for fine-tuning summaries, adding action items, or preparing content for clients

Note:
All edits are saved per version. You can revert back or export the final version any time.
