Tips for Better Results

1 min read

Ex.Brain is powerful—but it’s even better when you know how to speak its language. These tips will help you get faster, clearer, and more actionable answers from your AI assistant.

Use Clear, Specific Questions #

Don’t ask: “Tell me about performance.”
Do ask: “Summarize sales performance by location for Q2.”

The more specific your question, the better the result.

Add Context #

Give Ex.Brain the scope it needs:

  • “Compare April and May” → great
  • “Compare April and May for Retail East locations” → even better

Use department, timeframe, or location to narrow focus.

Ask for Format Up Front #

Want a summary? Timeline? Action list? Ask for it:

  • “Give me a bulleted list of key takeaways.”
  • “Turn this into an executive summary.”
  • “Show this as a table or chart.” (charts coming soon)

Iterate Like a Conversation #

Ex.Brain remembers what you just asked:

  • “Now break that down by product.”
  • “Turn that into a checklist.”
  • “What risks are mentioned?”

Treat it like a smart teammate, not a one-shot search box.

Upload and Ask Immediately #

Drag and drop a file or image, then immediately ask about it:

“What’s the approval flow in this SOP?” “Does this document mention any legal deadlines?”

The faster you ask after uploading, the more relevant the context.

 Avoid These Common Pitfalls #

  • Don’t ask about data you don’t have access to
  • Don’t expect results if your Blocks are missing or empty
  • Don’t repeat the same vague question—refine it instead
