Once your meeting is processed and diarization is complete, Ex.Brain unlocks the full post-recording view. This is where you can read, edit, and assign speaker identities to your meeting transcript.
This guide walks you through everything available after a meeting ends.
Accessing the Completed Transcript #
Go to the Meeting Organizer from the sidebar. Your most recent meetings appear at the top of the Recorded Meetings list. Click on any meeting to open the full post-meeting view.
The Transcript Interface Explained #
Once inside the meeting page, you’ll see a clean layout with:
Element | Description |
Meeting Title | Shown prominently at the top. Can be edited later. |
Meeting Info Icon | Use this to revisit or edit meeting metadata (date, category, language, etc.). |
Back Button | Returns you to the meeting list. |
Meeting Date & Duration | Displayed near the top. Helps you identify context. |
Diarized Transcript #
The heart of this screen is your speaker-separated transcript. Every line is grouped by speaker:
- Default names like Speaker 1, Speaker 2, etc.
- You’ll also see timestamps for when each speaker began talking.
Identifying Speakers #
To label speakers manually:
- Hover over any speaker name (e.g., Speaker 2).
- Click the dropdown arrow.
- Choose from:
- Registered team members (e.g., Sarah Green)
- Add a new custom name
- Registered team members (e.g., Sarah Green)
- Once you assign a name, it updates the transcript for all that speaker’s dialogue.
Tip:
Labeling speakers helps Ex.Brain deliver more accurate summaries, documents, and follow-up insights.
Audio Player & Word Sync #
At the top or bottom of the screen, you’ll find the meeting player:
- Clicking any word in the transcript will play the audio from that moment.
- As the audio plays, words will highlight in sync, so you can follow the conversation in real-time.
Editing the Transcript #
Right now, you can’t edit the transcript text itself — but you can:
- Assign speaker names
- Rename the meeting
- Reorganize exported blocks (described in the next article)
Coming Soon:
Inline editing of transcript text, so you can correct errors or redact details before export.
Exporting or Continuing #
Once you’ve reviewed the transcript, you can:
- Export it in 18 formats (see next article)
- Create a knowledge block
- Add it to your Ex.Brain AI assistant
Everything starts from this post-meeting view.
